Vedic Life Schools: With the purpose to transform rural India through Consciousness-based education, we have established Vedic Life Schools in chiefly 3 states- Odisha, Telangana, & Assam.
Odisha is the first state where we started our work in March 2017. We currently have 70 villages and schools and continuing to open new schools on a daily basis. In Telangana, we began our project in 2022 in 5 villages. In August 2022, we initiated 70 more schools in Sanga Reddy district. We also started 10 schools in Medak and 70 more schools in Vikarabad are under process. In Assam, we began in January 2022 in 5 villages. Several more villages want Vedic Life schools for their children. In addition to schools for children, we have adult education centers which we call as Vedic Satsang groups.
We teach following programs in Vedic Life Schools
Gow-Shala: In our humble mission to rejuvenate soil and dairy farms, we need Desi Cows. Desi Cows are essential for Vedic Krishi and healthy milk. We need Desi cows for Gober and Go mutra as part of Ayurvedic Rasayana and natural pesticides. We will be soon establishing our first Gow-Shala by the end of this year.
Vedic/Organic Farming: In Odisha, we have created a group of 300 farmers for Vedic Organic farming (from 20 villages and 2 blocks) in the form of Farmers Producer Organization (FPO) to receive the training and necessary help from SEED to MARKET chain:
BET is giving training to farmers in Vedic Organic Agriculture in Odisha. BET has constructed a training center in Village Khairtikira in Subarnapur District, for hands on training. Workshops and conferences were conducted by bringing experts.
Ma Brahmanandamayee (Mataji) is the founder, patron and the mentor in this humble endeavor in setting up Brahmananda Enlightenment Trust. Mataji (formerly Dr. Kumuda Reddy) practiced Medicine for 35 years in United States and spent 10 years in sadhana in the Himalayas and Tirumala to be enlightened. She is dedicated to help create Vedic Bio-Villages in India and bring Enlightenment to all.
